Breakfast Shake

So, apologies for the lack of posting as of late, having moved house and currently with work hitting about 1200 miles  (just under 2000 km) a month not to mention Panto rehearsals! I have had very little time unfortunately.  So for this post I have decided to go with my breakfast shake. Maybe not as tasty as some of my meals, but I am sure there were many resolutions made and some may be drifting off, so this may help get you back on track! :)

As I have mentioned I like to eat healthy and like to get to the gym about 3-4 times a week, when time permits. I need to make sure I am getting the right foods. Breakfast is a really important meal, which I have neglected over the years. I recently read that not eating breakfast can actually add 2inches to your stomach (not sure how true this is). However, this literally takes 5mins and can be enjoyed on the go! It’s got the necessary carbs and protein to get you on your way!



500/600 mils of Super/semi skimmed milk
1 banana
3 scoops of Oats
1 table spoon of linseed
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of coffee
1 table spoon of honey

1/2 scoops protein powder
1 weetabix


Get a blender, throw everything in and turn on to full, give about two mins, hey presto… breakfast. Pour into a shake container and have on the go.

If you lay out everything the night before, it can be ready even faster.
